A renewable and sustainable bio oil produced using our patented Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) technology, known as the Catalytic Hydrothermal Reactor (Cat-HTR™) platform.
Derived from renewable, organic waste materials, Arbios Biocrude has a significantly lower carbon intensity than conventional fossil fuels, with approximately 80% lower greenhouse gas emissions. Our Cat-HTR™ platform creates a more energy-dense bio oil with a lower carbon footprint (when compared to pyrolysis).
Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) is the next generation of feedstock recycling that uses water under high pressure and temperature to convert a range of biomass wastes and residues into bio oil. Our technology platform is proven on a wide range of raw materials that provides feedstock optionality.
Utilizing conventional refinery infrastructure, Arbios Biocrude, can be used to produce a range of high-value, sustainable, carbon-based products including advanced biofuels, bio-chemicals and other valuable bio-materials.
HTL produces a biocrude with High Heat Value.
