Position Overview:

Reporting to the General Manager of Operations, the Site Manager will provide overall leadership and direction for the Prince George facility. This role is accountable for day-to-day operations, medium-term planning, and full P&L responsibility. As Site Manager, you’ll ensure project timelines and quality standards are consistently achieved, foster strong coordination with internal and external stakeholders, and lead the site team to deliver safe, efficient, and reliable results.

What you’ll do:
  • Coordinate resources, schedule site activities, and ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and safety standards.
  • Prepare and manage site budget and operational expenses to ensure cost-effective management.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits, addressing any operational or safety issues promptly.
  • Champion company values, safety practices, and performance standards across the site.
  • Promote open communication and foster a positive, accountable workplace culture.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
  • Prepare and provide regular reports on site progress, challenges, and key metrics to senior management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with all departments across the organization.
  • Liaise with external partners, contractors, vendors, and regulatory bodies as necessary.
What you bring:
  • 10+ years experience in either site, project, or operations management. Experience in renewable energy sector, or industrial environment considered an asset.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams (operations, maintenance, safety, quality).
  • Strong ability to partner with senior executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability managing budgets and operational resources efficiently.
  • Sound knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and quality regulations in British Columbia.
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving, project management, and change management skills.
  • Ability to work full time on-site in Prince George, BC.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, operations management, or a related field.

Compensation: The annual salary for this role ranges from $140,000 to $165,000, based on skills and experience.

Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving from another province.
