The Arbios Biotech Chuntoh Ghuna project in Prince George, British Columbia has an agreement with the Province of British Columbia to receive credits under the Part 3 Agreement Program which promotes innovation, diversity, and greater uptake of lower carbon transportation fuels.  While the current phase of the Chuntoh Ghuna facility is expected to receive 127,020 low carbon fuel credits related to the development and construction of a biomass to bio-oil facility specified to produce 50,000 barrels of renewable bio-oil a year, Arbios has the potential to access up to 328,905 credits for an expanded facility.  This support from the Part 3 Agreement Program has accelerated the deployment of this important project to substantially contribute to BC’s future low carbon fuel supply.
